Computerized Land Assessment Modeling
PWA created the Wetland Functional GIS Model (WFGM) to streamline wetland permit processing. The WFGM facilitates the enforcement of wetland ordinances by analyzing the net loss or increase in the quantity, quality, and biological diversity of a wetland by a proposed impact. The wetland analysis also provides information that will assist in avoiding direct or indirect impacts from activities that destroy or diminish a wetland, and calculates a wetland replacement value where avoidance of activity is not feasible and prudent.
