Parcel Mapping
Digital parcel data is the cornerstone for developing, implementing and managing an integrated land information system. The many potential uses for a parcel map make it crucial that the parcels be mapped with an attention to detail that is required to produce data used for a GIS.
No one can foresee all the ways a parcel map will be used, but planning a data model and the data development process carefully with attention to detail will create parcel data with the flexibility to meet future needs.
