Data Development Services
Pro-West & Associates, Inc. has a technical staff with a wealth of experience in developing spatial data for land parcels, utilities, forest stands, rural addressing, hydrographic features, administrative boundaries, planimetrics, and natural resources. Each data development project is created with attention to detail, while incorporating enough flexibility to meet future needs and expansion.

PWA staff are well versed in the integration and conversion of AutoCAD and Microstation based data into a GIS format and have developed spatial models that have the ability to incorporate and use both data types.

Each data development project at PWA follows industry-approved best practices, beginning with identifying project requirements through data development specifications that are created in partnership with the client.

We are committed to quality assurance and control (QA/QC) and utilize Collaborative Project Management Tools (CPMT) to integrate development, testing and management roles within each data development project. PWA has dedicated staff members whose chief responsibility is quality control and assurance.

Pro-West and Associates, Inc. is involved in diverse natural resource projects including: data development, data conversion, maintenance, spatial analysis, database design, application development, forestry planning, remote sensing and customized training and support.

For over 20 years we have acted as a service bureau for county departments and forest industry clients. In those twenty years PWA has developed more cost-effective methods in keeping its client’s data current and has developed practices that have greatly improved both the spatial accuracy and overall data quality.

PWA’s aircraft, with camera bay, is used to fly specialized small (35mm) and medium (70mm) format aerial photography for vegetation or natural resource monitoring and analysis. This photography is utilized as an alternative or supplemental form of aerial imagery for the more cost prohibitive large format (9” x9”) imagery.
