The Pro-West team looks forward to much anticipated return of the Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium Annual Conference. We are excited to travel to the beautiful city of Duluth, MN for this year's conference.

NG9-1-1 GIS Data Prep: A Peer-to-Peer Knowledge Share - Friday, October 6, 9:30-10:30am, Gooseberry 2

Working on Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) and need help getting through? Join a panel of NG9-1-1 GIS data providers to discuss how they're preparing for NG9-1-1 and overcoming hurdles. The session will start with a brief overview of the program and status update on readiness across the state then continue with the panel discussion. This is an open forum where attendees have an opportunity to contribute and discuss how we're all going to bring Minnesota to NG9-1-1 GIS readiness and stay there. Whether you've only heard the term of actually work on NG9-1-1 data, this session will leave you with a better understanding of GIS' new role when someone calls 911 and the impact this has on local GIS data stewards. Attendees will also walk away with some tips and tricks, and a new support network for NG9-1-1 GIS data preparation and maintenance.
