Entrepreneurship and Opportunity Recognition in GIS Thursday, October 19, 8:30am-10:00am

Location technology and mapping software empowers organizations to unlock the potential to solve today's challenges and transform communities into Smart Communities. However, this does not happen simply by owning hardware or software. Transformation starts with people, tools, understanding, and creativity. Learn how to begin seeing new possibilities in the same situations and excel at Opportunity Recognition. By bringing the spirit and practices of entrepreneurship into existing geographic information systems, you can begin to create your own data-driven ecosystem that supports your Smart Community.

Attendees are encouraged, but not required, to bring their own computers and have a Creator license and at minimum a User role in an ArcGIS Online organization installed. Map products and other content needed during your live deployment will be provided at the start of the session.
