Polk County, MN is using ArcGIS Hub to engage with citizens in its community as part of a major GIS update.
The County, which has considered location technology mission-critical for the past 30 years, implemented enterprise GIS to enhance its GIS capabilities across the entire organization and provide public users with an improved experience. With a robust server infrastructure in place allowing room for growth, it deployed a collection of easy-to-use GIS apps via ArcGIS Hub to ensure information was easily available, searchable and insightful. Apps are mobile-friendly and reflect four key themes that receive a high demand for information from GIS users: land records, public safety, public works and elections.
In collaboration with Pro-West and other internal departments, Polk County successful deployment ArcGIS Hub to serve the information most valuable to its community in a user-friendly way.
