Pro-West & Associates today announced the retirement of President & CEO, Annette Theroux, and promotion of Vice-President of Programs, Kendis Scharenbroich, to the role.
Ms. Scharenbroich, of Bemidji, MN, joined Pro-West as a GIS Project Manager 17 years ago and became Vice-President in 2009. In her current role she has been responsible for leading hundreds of client projects, setting the technical direction for the company and managing industry partnerships. As President & CEO, she will be responsible for maintaining Pro-West’s position on the cutting edge of GIS, using state-of-the-art location intelligence tools to bring value to its clients.
Outgoing President & CEO, Theroux, also of Bemidji, has been with Pro-West for 24 years, guiding and growing the firm through a time of rapid change in the technology industry. Key achievements have included leading pioneering projects for the State of Minnesota, receiving award recognition for Pro-West’s services to the federal government, and transforming internal systems and processes to serve Pro-West’s clients – mostly government organizations – more effectively.
Ms. Theroux said:
“I have had a wonderful 24 years at Pro-West but it is the right time for me to retire. It has been a privilege to lead a business made up of talented people doing some of the most advanced work in our industry right here in Northern Minnesota. Pro-West, its clients and staff are well positioned for future success under Kendis’ leadership. She is a talented business leader who inspires those around her and has been instrumental in making Pro-West what it is today.”
Ms. Scharenbroich added:
“Annette has been an extraordinary leader and mentor. After 17 years I will miss collaborating with her on a daily basis but I’m excited to move forward, continuing to grow our unique culture and values. I am grateful to work with a dedicated team that does valuable work every day and cares deeply about our clients’ success. I am thankful to have such a solid foundation on which to build the future of our company.”
