Long-time Pro-West client St Louis County, MN, has been honored by Esri for its use of innovative GIS technology, with 20 county employees receiving the Special Achievement in GIS Award.
The award recognizes the county’s work on its Land Information Portal web and mobile application, developed in partnership with Pro-West and used by 700 of the county’s 1,700 employees, which provides comprehensive land records and geospatial data in a highly efficient and streamlined way.
"We bring that data internally together to help each other out, not only tabular data, but what the award was about was the document data, document integration which is, nationally, St. Louis county is one of the few hand full of counties that was able to pull this off," said Darren Jablonsky, Deputy Planning Director for St. Louis County.
