As the State of Minnesota prepares to implement a Next Generation 911 (NG911) system that incorporates modern communications technology, counties are receiving support from Pro-West to ensure they are ready on time.
Counties’ E911 data must exist in a format that meets standards set by the National Emergency Number Association (NENA), requiring counties to have NG911-ready data by January 1, 2018. Errors in data must be discovered and corrected, and information must be identical across GIS data and MSAG and ALI databases.
With decades of experience in working with address data, Pro-West’s experts are supporting counties at whatever stage of the NG911 readiness process they may be – whether work has not yet started, is well underway but additional resources are needed to ensure on-time completion, or a future need for emergency data maintenance has been identified.
Counties are enlisting Pro-West’s support with:
- Data clean-up
- Data analysis
- Address data development
- Error rectification
- Quality control
- Ongoing data maintenance
- Custom training to maintain data to NG911 standards in-house
