In the GIS industry, there are two distinct “conference seasons” each year: February-March and September-October. We’re about 2 weeks out from the February 2017 “opener”, so we would like to share where and when you can find Pro-West in the next couple of months.

Esri FedGIS

The aforementioned “season opener”. Taking place February 13-14 in downtown Washington, DC, Pro-West can be found at booth S10 in the Small Business Pavilion section of the exhibit hall. We’ll be showcasing our capabilities and track record as an Esri Federal Small Business Specialty Partner and an expert in supporting the federal government with GIS data services, application development, cartographic production, integration, and more through team augmentation and rapid response. Find out about the work we’ve done with the USDA Forest Service, EPA, Army Corps of Engineers, and more.

WLIA Annual Conference

The Wisconsin Land Information Association’s annual conference, held February 22-24 in the Dells, will see Pro-West support Racine County in telling the story of a dramatic GIS turnaround. In 2015 and 2016, Pro-West worked with Racine to join together previously disconnected business systems to share valuable information, migrate parcel data to Esri’s Local Government Information Model and Parcel Fabric, create public maps and apps, and transform processes to become highly efficient. Join us Thursday, February 23 at 1.30pm to find out how they did it, or catch us at our booth in the exhibit hall.

GIS/CAMA Technologies Conference

The 2017 GIS/CAMA Technologies Conference presented by the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) and the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA), will see Pro-West heading to Chattanooga March 6-9. We’ll be speaking March 8 during the CAMA-GIS Integration session on Seeing Assessor Data with New Eyes, focusing on the simple GIS tools that are making a big difference in the Assessor’s Office at Hubbard County, MN. Join us to find out how Hubbard went from a painstaking to painless process and is now able to easily and efficiently visualize important assessment data.

Esri Partner Conference and Developer Summit

In between the industry gatherings, Pro-West team members will be at Esri’s annual Partner Conference (March 4-6) and DevSummit (March 7-10) in Palm Springs, getting the inside track on what we can expect from Esri and the ArcGIS platform in 2017. We look forward to sharing the highlights and working with our clients to incorporate and get ready for updates that will add value to their organizations.
